What is the full form of 5G?
In the field of Cellular technology, 5G stands for “Fifth Generation”.
5G – “5th Generation”
What is 5g Technology?
5G technology is an upgraded version of Cellular technology, after 4G technology, where you will get access to faster internet speed. 5G is a new global wireless standard after 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G networks. After 5G technology, the way of connecting and talking with each other around the world will also change. Also, people will be able to use virtual reality technology with 5g Hi-speed internet.

5G technology you will get high-speed Gbps internet speed instead of Mbps, with ultra-low latency and greater reliability, you will get a better network capacity, better user experience. Through 5G the user experience will be good as well as more industries will be able to connect through 5G technology.
What will be the speed of 5G?
5G technology will be an upgraded version of cellular technology after 4G. Where after 5G is fully launched, you will get a maximum 20 Gbps speed. On the other hand, if you talk about the average speed of 5G, then you will get about 100+ Mbps data speed, which will be about 100 times more than 4G.
5G technology is based on which technology?
In 5G technology, main based on two types of technology. Let’s know which one it is.
1. 5G LTE-A based 5G technology
After 3G, 4G was built on LTE based technology. Where you get high-speed internet facility and 5G technology has been built on its advanced technology that is called LTE-A based technology. Which is known as Long Term Evolution Advanced (LTE-A) technology.
2. NR (New Radio) based 5G technology
In the area of 5G, NR is known as New Radio Technology, it is a standalone technology, here you get much higher speed wireless internet facility than LTE-A technology. The frequency range of new radio technology is between 30 to 300 GHz.
But now globally, the frequency range between 24 GHz to 28 GHz is being used for 5G technology.
Is 5G dangerous?
This question is quite common because as technology is increasing, it also creates doubt in the minds of people. However, till date no such study has come out which can say that “5G is dangerous” and can say that it is a threat to mankind.
But many such studies have come out which have suggested that if exposure of Radio-frequency and Radio waves keeps the human species longer, then it can be at risk of serious diseases like cancer. At the same time, some research has also shown that it can be dangerous for pregnant women during pregnancy.
However, this does not only apply with 5G, but 4G, 3G, 2G or 1G, or apart from the WiFi or Bluetooth devices in our homes, these things also remain at risk.
In 2011, the International Agency of the World Health Organization published a research paper in which they made it clear that radio frequency does carry some serious disease risk and the most prominent was cancer.
If it is seen how dangerous 5G is, then this fact cannot be explained with proof. However, 5G uses very high bandwidth and frequency.
Which countries are using 5G network?
If seen, 5G will be seen gradually moving across the world with time. However, 5G started in 2016. From July 2016, the Federal Communications Commission began making 5G regulations and the United States of America became the first country to use high bandwidth spectrum for 5G and get a license for 5G.
After that South Korea started 5G in January 2020 that same Sweden and Estonia has introduced 5G technology in their country. Turkey has also become a part of 5G. Japan and China are also currently using 5G technology.
By January 2020, 378 cities in 34 countries around the world are using 5G technology.
